Faith Hickenbotham and Cody Smith said "I do" on January 26, 2019 at Woodrow Hall in Birmingham, Alabama. Together with their family and friends, they transformed the beautiful venue with exposed brick and high ceilings into their very own personalized ceremony and reception space! It’s so refreshing and special when couples showcase their unique interests throughout their wedding, and Faith and Cody perfectly incorporated their alter egos Wonder Woman and Superman into their special day: Faith and Cody donned Converse sneakers printed with their respective heroes for the reception, the cake topper was a creative silhouette of the two characters kissing, the groomsmen sported DC Comics hero logo shirts under their formal attire, and they entered the reception to the iconic Wonder Woman's Wrath song from the movies!
In every part of the wedding planning process, Faith and Cody stayed true to themselves! They highlighted Faith's love of daisies in the bouquets and centerpieces—even her wedding dress and veil have daisy-inspired lace and detailing! These two also wanted to be able to drive around Birmingham and see landmarks that mark their wedding location, so we made sure to capture their photos in front of magnificent architecture surrounding their venue. If I could describe their entire wedding vibe with one word, it would be dynamic! Everyone was so incredibly excited to be there to celebrate Faith and Cody, and my heart is so full from all the love, laughter, and fun! Take a look at these gorgeous, lively photos!
