When our good friends Brittany and Adam asked me to take photos of their beautiful baby girl, Collins Leigh Cotant, I couldn't be more excited! My husband Sean and Adam have been best buds since their undergraduate days, and they've shared countless special moments and milestones with each other. This particular milestone—becoming a parent on May 23, 2017—was definitely one to celebrate and capture in an intimate and cozy lifestyle photo session.

After snapping photos of the gorgeous nursery, I came downstairs to find Collins lounging with Adam in the living room!
Collins sure does love her bath time with Brittany! Also, how cute is Collins in that elephant wrap?!
After getting dressed, Collins was fresh-faced and ready for her close-up! The Cotants snuggled up on their bed and we captured these sweet, cozy moments.
We headed back up to the nursery, where Collins donned the dress that she came home from the hospital in. The warm light shining through the window created the perfect touch of serenity in these lifestyle photos!
Of course we had to capture their interactions in the living room, where their adorable dogs Tripper and Bentley joined in on the fun!
Brittany wanted to take some "baby's first house" photos for the baby photo book, and her idea came out beautifully! We ended our session with Brittany and Adam rocking Collins to sleep on their front porch swing!
