Brie + JD | Wedding | Stave Creek Baptist Church + Community House | Jackson, Alabama

Brie Strickland and John David Thomas become husband and wife on September 21, 2019 at JD's hometown church, Stave Creek Baptist Church, and they continued their celebration at Community House in Jackson, Alabama. Brie and JD are such a sweet and wholesome couple with an authentically pure love for each other, and it was an absolute dream to work with them and their incredibly kind family and fun bridal party! In fact, the emotional first looks that Brie shared with her bridesmaids, fathers, and grandparents had everyone (including me) shedding a tear or two. The abundance of love and support from all involved in the wedding day was so evident and beautiful to witness!

In addition to the heartwarming atmosphere surrounding their special day, their reception venue decor was planned with such stunning attention to detail by Brie herself! Their wedding aesthetic of natural elements, represented by cream florals and greenery, was accentuated by pops of blue and gold, showcased by the chiavari chairs and lettering on hand-crafted signs. The guestbook was accompanied by a sign saying "help us remember the 21st night of September"—how cute and clever! Brie even decorated the bathrooms with blue fabrics, candles, and champagne scented soap! Not only did they have two separate sweets tables (one for the Brie and another for JD), but also their reception displayed a coffee bar complete with different spices, flavors, and personalized coffee cup koozies! This also served as a sweet reminder of Brie and JD meeting and getting engaged at a coffee shop! Take a look through their gorgeous wedding day!
